HOW OUR PRICING WORKS

CAKE FLAVORS

LAYERS  VS  TIERS

A common misunderstanding between bakers and their clients is the difference between layers and tiers.

We help explain the difference below!

Tiers refer to the number of cakes used in the order.

They generally decrease in size as they are stacked.

We offer up to 4 stacked tiers per single cake.

In between each tier is a cardboard cake board held up by dowels inserted into the tier underneath to help support the cake, which is then usually covered with frosting for a seamless look.

If you are wanting to order a multi-tiered cake, base price will include all cake tier sizes together as well as the additional tier charge listed below.

You have the option to choose different flavors and/or fillings for each individual tier.



Ask us about our alternative options for tiers!

We offer clear cake spacers that can be filled with florals, images, fairy lights, or left empty.

We offer dummy cakes that can be used in place of cake if you want a specific look but do not want an abundance of leftover cake.

MULTI-TIERED CAKES

ORDERING PROCESS

Once you know your desired flavor(s), filling(s), servings needed, and any design or color requests, please fill out our CUSTOM ORDER FORM and we will get a quote for you!

We usually respond within 24 business hours of any quote requests or messages.

We recommend reserving your order several weeks in advance in order to secure availability.

Any orders that are due less than 7 days from invoice date will have rush fees added.

To get your base price, be sure to use the pricing options listed above to get an estimate and starting price point for your order.

We reserve the right to refuse any design or image requests. We will always do our best to offer an alternate option, if applicable.

We are not licensed to distribute alcohol and, therefore, are unable to include any alcohol (bottled or otherwise) on any of our cakes or treats sold.

We are located in the Glennwilde subdivision in Maricopa, Arizona!

Pickup address will be sent with your invoice.

Due to availability, we schedule pickup times as appointments and ask that clients be on time. We are only able to honor pickup times within a 15 minute window. After 15 minutes have passed, pickup arrangements may need to be rescheduled.

We offer delivery for $50 for local delivery (within 10 miles of my location).

Locations that are over 10 miles away will have an additional $2/mile for delivery.

For our dessert table delivery and set up services, we will charge our delivery fee as listed above, with an additional $25 set up service fee.

PICKUP / DELIVERY

Small Kine Bakeshop uses an invoice program for payments!

At least 50% deposit is required to reserve availability for your order and will be due once invoice is sent.

The invoice is due to be paid IN FULL before any products are picked up or delivered.

Once a final quote has been sent and agreed to, we will send an invoice via email where you will be able to make your payment through their secure process.

We accept most forms of payments:

debit/credit cards, digital wallet payments (Apple or G Pay), Cash App, Afterpay, & Small Kine Bakeshop Gift Cards (also available for purchase).
